Tea Brewing Tips

Brewing Instructions for black tea.

Water Temperature      206

Amount of tea, per 6-8 oz. servings        1 teaspoon

Steep Time       3-5 minutes

Proper Tea Brewing Etiquette:

  1. Enjoy the process of brewing tea as it can cause your senses to be heightened and enhance the taste of the tea.
  2. Fill your kettle with freshly drawn water.  Using water left in the kettle can alter the taste of your tea.
  3. Place recommended amount of tea in your choice of tea ware.  Not if you want a stronger tasting cup of tea add more tea rather than steeping it longer as the longer you steep the tea the more bitter the tea will taste.
  4. Pour hot water over your tea leaves, cover and let the tea infuse the water for the recommended steep time.
  5. Enjoy your tea!

An interesting note to those who are not regular tea drinkers, your tea leaves are not one time use only, they can be re-steep multiple times!
